I know without a doubt that readers of The Mogul Mom blog are the best in the blogosphere. Y’all (I lived in Atlanta for a few years & still use this expression even though I’m a damn Yankee
) are so innovative, tenacious, supportive, kind, funny and just great human beings. I love reading your comments & feedback and consider myself so fortunate to be writing for you.
Last winter, a reader named LeNesha Carey subscribed to The Mogul Mom and began leaving the most wonderful comments–interactive, helpful, enthusiastic and sweet.
“Great interview Heather. The Mogul Mom blog is definitely at the top of my list of for Mom Entrepreneurs. Starting a business is quite intimidating, so having a coach and resources in your corner is definitely a huge plus. P.S. I like your new site header
“
“Congratulations ladies!!! I checked out your sites and your products look to be comforting, fun, and engaging. I also want to say an extra woohoo to the Arizona company (ficklets) because I also live in AZ and I get extra excited to hear about real women business owners within my own backyard!”
“This post is right on time and I can absolutely relate and use the information here. I’m in the process of starting a business and decided just last week to write a blog in order to journal my experiences in starting my business. My product is not ready for sales yet, but I definitely want to build relationships with my potential customer base, experts in the business world, and others in my market space.
Just yesterday, I asked the question seeking advice as to what the best method to promote a blog is. Basically, how do you use social media tools and make them work for you. So, thanks for this post!”
Well, it turns out that LeNesha is not only a great reader, but also, a GREAT WRITER.
LeNesha is blogging about her experiences as a mom entrepreneur on My Business Adventures: A Mom’s Real-Time Journey Starting A New Business. LeNesha’s blog is so unique because it’s in real-time–so, she’s documenting every part of starting her business as it happens. Is that cool or what?
My Business Adventures covers book reviews, resources, mompreneur events, interviews, giveaways and LeNesha’s own findings, feelings & decisions about her business.
Some of her latest posts include great resources for finding overseas manufacturers, Suze Orman’s financial advice and why she doesn’t want to patent her idea.
As someone who’s farther down the entrepreneurial road, I can tell you that, as Grateful Dead’s song “Truckin” says, “Lately it occurs to me: what a long, strange trip it’s been.”
The road of a mom entrepreneur can be a long, strange one and for those of you just starting your journey, I encourage you to read LeNesha’s blog and travel the road together.
