I thought I’d try something new in 2009 for my weekly interview feature…and I’m so excited to see the responses.
Here are the interview questions (along with some new ones) that I typically ask for “The Mogul Mom Features“.
Are you a mogul mom who’d like to be featured in this segment? Simply cut & paste these questions into an email, answer them and email them to me along with a photo of yourself. Please be generous with your answers–we want to learn all about you–AND this is YOUR chance to get some great publicity for your company.
- What is your name & how many children do you have?
- What’s the name of your company and the inspiration behind it?
- What is your current business struggle?
- What is your current business goal?
- What one quality do you think is a “must-have” for a mom entrepreneur?
- What 1 thing or person has been very instrumental in your success?
- What are your 3 favorite blogs?
- What is your favorite quote?
- What advice would you give to a new mom entrepreneur?
- How can we connect with you? (Email, Twitter, Facebook, website, etc.)

Hi – I saw your posting on HARO and I know 2 amazing Mom Entrepreneurs I think would be great candidates for profiles.
Lesley Barovick, Founder of Groove Performing Arts
and
Gretchen Menzies, Founder of EssentialMom.com
These are Westchester area moms who started their own businesses aimed at enriching area families through the arts, information and social connections. Different concepts but really cool, successful moms trying to balance it all. Links here to their info/bios. Enjoy and thanks for considering Lesley and Gretchen!

Heather,
We met on twitter and now I am just getting to your fabulous blog. I love this idea because not only does it support other women, but shows how we are reinventing the “best practices” in business by living real practices…also there are many challenges we are all facing so so good to hear it from one who has been there!!
