I just discovered that I ranked #8 in Viralogy’s Top 10 Bloggers of the Week. Sweet serendipity.
Never heard of Viralogy? Neither had I until last week when Yu-Kai Chou, CEO of Viralogy contacted me to say someone had submitted The Mogul Mom to them as a top blog. Here’s more on Viralogy.
“Viralogy was founded to help personal bloggers become discovered throughout the internet. We realized that there are many bloggers out there who blog consistently, have great content, but have no traffic because no one knows they exist. Our founders have been there and we know the pain.
On the other hand, there are also lots of blog readers who are looking for niche, authentic blogs on the internet, but blog hubs always focus on the top blogs that are already famous, many of them corporate and written by an entire group of people. Viralogy is the platform that bridges the personal bloggers who want to expand their readership to the blog readers who want to discover quality, niche blogs.
Viralogy will eventually become the Social Media Rank, factoring in all sorts of Social Media metrics throughout the web, and create a ranking of how influential everyone is on the internet. We will become the analytics for personal branding.”
If you’re a blogger but not quite Chris Brogan or Seth Godin yet, check out Viralogy.
