“During our one year training program, we provide entrepreneurs with practical business knowledge taught by seasoned business professionals. Through an intense and challenging series of training sessions and feedback sessions, we work with our entrepreneurs to develop an idea for a Detroit-based business. Those who make it through our program and develop an approved business plan will receive our facilitation in obtaining funding for the business described in the plan and a share of ownership in the business which can increase over time. They also receive our guidance in launching and leading the business.
Our services are provided entirely free to our entrepreneurs and living stipends are available. We are a not-for profit headquartered in Detroit’s Cultural Center with state-of-the-art training facilities and work space for our entrepreneurs to use as they build their business. We are surrounded by a family of growth-oriented successful companies like Quicken Loans, Fathead, ePrize, etc, who provide our program with the expertise, guidance and support necessary to launch successful businesses.”
