What is your name & how many children do you have?
I am Stephanie Nash and I have 4 year old boy/girl twins.
What’s the name of your company and the inspiration behind it?
I own and operate For Baby with Love. The twins are really the inspiration behind the online store as we wanted to cloth diaper them, but couldn’t find resources locally. So we opened the store to offer better and green diapering alternatives to new and expecting parents.
What is your current business struggle?
Our current struggle is finanaces. When we started the business we didn’t properly research what type of accounting software we should be using and purchased a very basic one. Now, 4 years later the books are a disaster, I’m still not paying myself and I’m not 100% certain that we’re making money.
What is your current business goal?
I would like to have a brick & mortar store within the next year. I think that with the present economic and environmental situation, there’s never been a better time to switch to cloth. Online has a lot cloth diapering stores, but there are few brick & mortars an avenue in which I feel we’d be able to reach more perspective parents.
What one quality do you think is a “must-have” for a mom entrepreneur?
Time-Management Skills. Finding a balance between your family and your job can be very difficult. You really need to have the skills to manage the time efficiently and effectively to benefit everyone.
What 1 thing or person has been very instrumental in your success?
My husband. He has been very supportive and understanding. Especially when it seems I’m spending countless hours in front of the computer.

It won’t be easy; but if you stay with it and have a great support system, you can achieve great things.
