Ok, mogul moms…I get it, I get it. You want my 30 dinners that I mentioned on the insanely popular 7 Ways for Mom Entrepreneurs to Save Time, Money & Sanity post.
I’m going to do even better saving you time & sanity by giving you 32 dinners that you can use! Now keep in mind that my son Brendan is allergic to chicken, turkey, tuna, peanuts and tree nuts — so these meals are heavy on the beef, pasta and pork dishes. Also, I’ve made these meals so many times that I know the recipes by heart — so if you want specific recipes, just email me and I’ll see what I can do.
Most of them come from Ina Garten, Bobby Flay, Andrew Weil or my own head. You can find the recipes for meatballs, pasta with vodka sauce and baked pasta with roasted vegetables here. You can see the recipe for pasta with kale here.
On to the 32 dinner ideas! Click here to view and save my 32 dinners!
If for some bizarre reason you don’t like my 32 dinners, you can find some great dinner ideas here:
- Whole Foods: Get recipes and even make a shopping list on Whole Foods nifty website! (Love that place!)
- The Dinner Spin: Make mealtime easier with simple online tools that plan, shop, cook, eat and budget.
- Menu for the Week: A full week’s worth of dinner recipes and shopping lists sent to you by email — just print!
- Food Network: Click on their Quick & Easy tab for DUH — quick and easy meals that will please the kids and make life easier for you.
- Simple Mom: Tsh Oxenreider makes dinnertime simple with a month-long menu plan.
Now don’t say I never gave you anything…heehee.

Fabulous! I love it…
I was hoping you would share those 30 meals. This is a great “go to” list when trying to plan a months’ worth of dinner meals. Ideas stop coming after about 5-6 for me.

Heather… you could never be guilty of not giving.
I have to share these meal ideas with my husband who cooks majority of the time. Meals 15, 16 & 19 sound scrumptious and would definitely appeal to him from the get go. He’s a big meat eater. I love, love seasoned rice vinegar. Do you use seasoned or regular? Seasoned rice vinegar is sweeter, it’s also great in potato salad.
Thanks for sharing!

Ros,
I LOVE rice vinegar–I use it for salad dressing, marinades, sauce for the beef lettuce wraps (I whisk in some honey & a tiny bit of canola oil) and more. I actually use both — seasoned and regular.
Your husband will like my recipes if he’s a big meat eater.

Heather you forgot to mention that the recipes are on index cards (with shopping list on back) for easy planning and shopping for the week. I just love that.

Tracy,
You’re right–the index cards do make things much easier! I typed up the dinners on Google Docs so I could share it with y’all! I suppose if someone was especially techy, they could create a spread sheet with the recipes and ingredients that they could just cut & paste onto the grocery shopping spreadsheet.

Your list is wonderful, these are stuff that children wouldn’t be wary of eating. Number 19 is a must try, but the one I really like the most is the Pasta with Fresh Mozzarella, Basil, Tomatoes, Garlic & Olive Oil, sounds absolutely yummy! I’d be looking forward to the end of each month if this was served last haha
Thanks for sharing these!

I wanted to mention one cooking blog that I think might help solve this problem. The author gives the menu and recipes weekly – on Mondays – so that you have a plan for the week. Sometimes I get behind too on the planning (like today) but her blog helps a lot in a pinch. I signed up for her updates with my e-mail and the recipes get delivered right to my phone.

Just wanted to let you know that I made the Rustic Pasta with Roasted Vegetables last night – and it was FABULOUS. Definitely a winner that will be going into the monthly rotation. I like how we had lots of leftovers so that I didn’t have to cook the next night. And as my 3 boys get bigger and start eating me out of house and home – it will be a satisfying meal.

Sara,
Glad you liked it. And glad it’ll fill those boys of yours UP.
The Rustic Pasta with Roasted Veggies is always a favorite and I swear, it’s better on night #2!!
