I think these are all great ideas! I recently was trying to find a way to set up a system to thank clients for my virtual assistant business, but uncertain the best way to approach it. I thought about email, but snail mail seems more personal.

Great information! I use an online card sending system that I can take care of sending all the cards I need from my desk with out leaving home! I love it. It makes it easy to get the card off and even send cards to clients or potential business partners just because. Thank You for these tips!

This is great advice! Going the extra mile and thanking people for their referrals or business builds better relationships and produces more clients. When you exceed expectations, it will always come back to you.

Don't know anyone who's ever felt "over-thanked". =) Saying "thank you" is one of my favorite phrases to say, and a big proponent of sending Thank you cards, too. In fact, I have about 4-5 boxes of them ready to go when needed--simple and no mushy wordings (sorry Hallmark). I think the gesture of sending Thank you cards is a vital part of a business and love tip #4--have a turnkey system in place.
