thank you! i am loving your video tips!!! so glad you took the big step into the world of video!
i too keep notebooks — many of them! every so often i sit down and go through them and rip out pages and file them into categories.
i have planned workshops and retreats this way (not even knowing that was what i was doing when i started jotting the ideas down) and have the outlines for two books starting to take form.
notebooks are very powerful tools!!!

You’re right, Erin – notebooks are powerful tools. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the video tips.
Thanks for letting me know!

Heather, first I have to say watching you on your videos gets me giddy. It’s the same feeling I get when I meet up with a good friend that I haven’t seen for awhile for coffee or lunch for some girl/me time. I soo enjoy your videos… I’m glad you’re doing them. Besides, with all the blogs, emails, etc., watching a video is so much faster and easier to get through. LOVIN’ IT!
Ohh yeah… tip 3–SMART! This much I know–do what successful people do. When I attended nail-tech school several years ago, I saw the school director always pulling out a little note pad to jot things down. She looked so smart & professional doing this. So, I started carry a mini-notepad in my purse. Besides, it’s fun shopping for these mini-notepads… they’re sooo cute (sorry, digressed here).
Thank you… see ya tomorrow.

Aw Ros, you’re so cute. I’m glad you’re so enjoying the videos. You’re right – they are faster to watch (and make!) than a written post. Perfect for mom entrepreneurs, especially at this time of year.

Hey Heather,
love tip #3 – use a note book!! I too have used a notebook for years. It is the only way to keep what goes on in my head somewhat organized.
Thank you for doing these 12 tips of Christmas. I am really enjoying watching them – they’re nice and quick and back to the basics. And it also just seems so much more personal then reading. Keep up the great job!!

Thanks so much, Christa! It’s really fun doing them and like most things I’ve been afraid of – they’re not scary at all and I wish I’d done them SOONER.
Notebooks are such a simple, kick-a*s way to unload all the genius ideas in your head, aren’t they?? LOL.

Hi Heather. This video blog is fabulous. In the past, I would read your blog if I had time and I’ve met Liz so I’ve been trying to learn from her about marketing through your blog too, but this video–I wouldn’t miss it! Your advice comes alive seeing you face to face. Thanks!

I’m staring at my notebook right now. I’m on my 4th one! Have you heard of the notes you can write on in the shower? AquaNotes, http://www.myaquanotes.com/. I think I need to get myself a set!
