1 Ros December 21, 2009 at 7:40 pm: Love the term – social caterpillar. Now I know what to call the 3-4 months of observation period on twitter (my favorite)–”cocooning”. It took me that long to become active and engage on a regular basis. I was initially apprehensive about getting started (as with anything new & unfamiliar), but it gradually subsided as I better acquainted myself with the twitter community and how they utilized and engaged on twitter.
