TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND WHY YOU STARTED IT

I run a digital marketing agency. I initally launched my company as a public relations firm almost 8 years ago. I decided to rebrand to a digital agency once I saw a shift in the market where social media was playing a significant role in how we communicated and promoted our businesses.

WHAT DO YOU SELL?

We sell the following services: social media management, website design, podcast production, email marketing and content creation. We work very close with out clients to identify qualified leads for their business and then create digital content to convert those leads into sales.

WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE?

Our target audience are businesses that make at least 2 million a year in revenue, ideally within the real estate, healthcare it and corporate event planning industries.

WHAT 3 PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

1. Creating the opportunity to move from Atlanta to New York shortly after college and secure a job by asking for it when it was only supposed to be a informational interview.
2. Starting my own business after the death of my mother and actually making a profit.
3. Reestablishing my company after suffering from pre and post partum depression.

WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS STORY UNIQUE?

During the time that I restructured my business from public relations firm to digital marketing agency, I got pregnant with my 1st and only child and had terrible pre and postpartum. I lacked all drive, creativity and ambition…something that had NEVER happened before. Naturally my business suffered.
Spring 2017, I had to go back to a corporate job and figured my entrepreneurial dreams were over (After having not worked for anyone else in over a decade). About 90 days into the job I realized I needed to fight for me dreams and figure it out.
I thought I should get a mentor to help guide me. I reached out to someone and she recommended I apply for a entrepreneurial incubator strictly for women here in Atlanta. Despite fear and doubt, I applied, pitched and I got in.
The incubator started in Jan and I left my job in Jan. The experience so far has been phenomenal. My business is getting back on track and I have the support I need to make this a real success.
